About the Team

Kathy Allen, General Manager

Ms. Allen has worked for TV20 since 1987 and is responsible for the operations of the station. Appointed General Manager by current Mayor Frank G. Jackson, Ms. Allen has worked with the administrations of former mayors George Voinovich, Michael R. White and Jane Campbell during her 25 years with the City of Cleveland. She is passionate about her career with TV20 and following the leadership of Mayor Jackson. Ms. Allen states that her mission is “to educate the citizens of Cleveland about what’s happening in Cleveland through television.” Ms. Allen graduated from Erieview Catholic High School and attended Cleveland State University. She is a proud member of the Word Church. She loves life and she’s a mother of twin boys, Jeremy and Jordan, who are her pride and joy.


Christian Patterson, Sports Reporter 

 Christian is a proud graduate of Bowling Green State University.  He joined the TV20 team in 2010 as a Studio Assistant and a year later was promoted to Sports Reporter. He reports on a wide range of sports for TV20 including: Recreation, High School, Collegiate and Professional sporting events.  In addition to reporting, Christian hosts The Inside Sports Report and Christian’s Eye On Cleveland.  He has a deep passion for sports, art and fashion.  He loves the City of Cleveland and everything it stands for. Dan Monroe, Producer/Reporter

For nearly 20 years, Dan Monroe has worked in the video production field as a videographer, editor, reporter, producer and director.  Dan got his start at Cox Communications in Parma, working as a Producer/Reporter for Community Channel 45. He then moved to Princeton, NJ to work as a Station Manager for two, brand new community/school channels.  Dan joined TV20 in August of 2015 and really enjoys working to bring stories of the best of Cleveland to the TV20 audience.  When not working, Dan enjoys quiet time at home with his wife Kelly and his boys Matthew and Ryan.

 Henry Pikturna, Facilities Manager
 Henry graduated from Cleveland State University in 1984, and worked as a freelancer and news editor for WUAB until 1993 when he then joined the TV20 team. Since then, Henry has grown just as much as the station itself has. He is now married with two children, three cats, and two hives full of bees.

Doug Fill, Production Manager/Program Manager

Doug joined the TV20 family back in 2002 after a brief time working at WEWS News Channel 5.  As a graduate of Cleveland State University with a degree in communications for film and video production, Doug  is responsible for directing the “look” of TV20, including videography, graphics, and editing. Thanks to him, TV20 has taken on a much more modern news look.  Doug is married with 3 children, and made it a point to mention “no chickens.”

Hello my name is Johnnie Grimes and im trying to put a turkey drive together for the Garden Valley community. we have a place to store the turkeys a drop of location and people to volenteer to help hand out the turkeys every year we never have enough to hand out and some families go without and thts the thing were trying to not have this thanksgiving. If you know of anyone that could help or get this story out it would be amazing. Thank you and God Bless

  3. I participated in the MLK memorial event at Greater Abysinnia Baptist Church on Wednesday and I noticed TV20 was covering it. Is the video available here on TV20 or your YouTube channel?

  4. I saw that the team was there filming at the Botanical Gardens on Black Friday for their Glow celebration, but I have not been able to find the story on your website or on Youtube. Do you plan on putting it on the website?
