Cleveland Botanical Gardens Not Quite Ripe!

TV20 reporter Leah Haslage was at The Not Quite Ripe! Sound Check party was held at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens this past weekend. RIPE! Fest No. 3 brought together Cleveland’s “Best Bites, Brews and Tunes”.

Kicking off the party was DJ Kishka, who spun great polka classics while party goers enjoyed beer from Tremont Tap House and food from Chipotle. Following DJ Kishka, one of Cleveland’s newest bands pOUT took the stage followed then by local band Chasing Kelly.

The sound check party was a way to kick off the weekend festivities at the Gardens, which included live music by Northeast Ohio bands, a marketplace full of handmade goods by local merchants, workshops about cooking and gardening and a lively children’s activity area, including puppet shows, crafts and pedal-tractor rides.

It was a fun fall event surrounded by gorgeous fall foliage. If you happened to miss the event this year you should definitely try to make it out next year! And as always, you can see Leah’s coverage of the event on TV20!
