Cleveland Honors “Standing Strong In Media” for Black History Month

TV20’s own General Manager, Kathy Allen, was commemorated for her contributions to the City of Cleveland and Black History Month.

Tuesday, the City Hall rotunda hosted a celebration for Stand Strong in Media, a ceremony dedicated to those who have contributed to the lasting image of Cleveland and Black History.

Kathy gave a speech, dedicating it to her family, friends, and coworkers.

The recipients include Mychal Lilly, photographer, James Wade Jr., Photojournalist, and Kathy Allen, TV20’s General Manager
Kathy along side her fellow award recipients.

“Without my TV20 team…I have to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart.”

We want to commemorate Kathy for her accomplishment and dedication, both as a citizen of Cleveland, and as our General Manager. All of us here at TV20 give her our deepest thanks and appreciation. Kathy made a short acceptance speech, which can be seen below.
