Cleveland Labor Day Weekend

With a three day weekend right around the corner, and autumn following not too far behind, this might be one of your last chances to leave the house without a sweater and a cup of hot chocolate in hand, but what a weekend it is! First is our star attraction: The Cleveland Labor Day Parade.

Starting promptly at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 3rd, the Cleveland Labor Day Parade will kick off at East 146th street and head towards Luke Easter Park, where the celebration continues with a Labor Day Festival.

Maybe parades aren’t your thing? Chances are you’ve seen (or heard) Cleveland’s next big Labor Day weekend attraction: The Cleveland National Air Show! Hosted at Burke Lakefront Airport, get a chance to see supersonic jets and massive cargo planes up close from September 1st to the 3rd. To purchase tickets or learn more about the event, you can go to their website: http://www.clevelandairshow.com/

If you’re looking for some company this weekend, why not consider adopting a new fluffy friend? The City Dogs of Cleveland is having a Labor Day weekend. All adoptions fees are just $31. To see what dogs are available for adoption, you can go to http://www.petango.com/cacc. Once a furry friend peaks your interest, you can arrange a visitation by emailing citydogs@city.cleveland.oh.us or calling (216) 664-3476

Finally, there will be no trash collection this Monday due to Labor Day.
