Browns Return of Browns

Jim Brown, the NFL and Cleveland Browns legend who once graced the city of Cleveland with his powerful running skills, will soon be returning to the organization after a falling out with former team president Mike Holmgren who removed him from his role as advisor to former owner Randy Lerner.

Not only is Jim Brown the greatest Cleveland Browns player, he is also believed to be the best NFL player in history by many or at least the greatest running back in NFL history.  Jim Brown led the league in rushing in eight out of his nine seasons and in rushing touchdowns five seasons.  He is the all-time leader in yards per carry and he finished his career with 12,312 yards for an average of 104.3 yards per game.

So now that the Cleveland Browns are under new ownership, Jim Brown will have the chance to rejoin the organization.  The Cleveland Browns retired Jim Browns number 32 jersey and he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1971.

According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Owner Jimmy Haslam wouldn’t go into detail about Jim Brown’s new position because “It’s a big deal, and that’s why I want to do it right.  In the next couple of weeks we’ll announce something.”

I’m very excited to see the NFL legend Jim Brown return to the City of Cleveland and to the Browns organization.  He is a great man who did a lot for the organization as well as this city.
