After 45+ years of public service, former Director of Public Safety, Michael McGrath, has retired.

Taking his place is City of Cleveland Chief Assistant Prosecutor, Karrie Howard. Mayor Frank G. Jackson administered the oath of office via Facebook Live, giving Director Howard his first chance to speak publicly as Safety Director.
