“Cleveland Says No More” 5th Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Program (0:40)

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, and the event served as a kick-off for a month full of awareness activities and programs. The event was sponsored in part by the Cleveland Browns, and the keynote address was delivered by for Browns Running Back, Greg Pruitt.


Community Relations Awards Ceremony (2:50)

The 4th District of the Cleveland Division of Police recently held their annual Community Relations Awards Ceremony at The Benjamin Rose Institute. Mayor Frank Jackson welcomed the crowd to the event and congratulated those being honored for their dedication toward their community.


Age Friendly Jobs (4:17)

Ohio Means Jobs has teamed up with the Cleveland Department of Aging to help senior citizens find a job that’s a perfect fit for them. The event, held at the Ohio Means Jobs Downtown offices, was a job fair designed for the 50 and older crowd searching for full or part time work.


Kiva Launch Event with Cleveland Department of Economic Development (6:06)

Kiva, an international non-profit organization that gives zero percent loans to entrepreneurs and students, is now available in Cleveland. The official launch was held at Growth Opps in Cleveland’s Mid-Town neighborhood.


Hispanic City of Cleveland Employee Recognition Ceremony (9:30)

As a part of the City of Cleveland’s Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration, city employees were honored and recognized at a ceremony and luncheon. The event was held at the department of Public Utilities with Director Robert Davis welcoming all the employees to the event.


Recovery Run Race with Muny Court (10:50)

TV20 was up bright and early for this year’s Cleveland Municipal Court Celebrating Recovery Walk and Run. Sponsoring the event is the honorable Judge Lauren C. Moore. Medals were passed out to those who successfully finished. Just like with recovery, everyone’s a winner in the end.


Clean Water Fest (11:55)

The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District hosted their 11th Annual Clean Water Fest at the Southerly Waste Water Treatment Plant in Cuyahoga Heights. We headed to the treatment facility to give you an inside look at this free, family-friendly event.


Mark Tromba Ribbon Cutting Ceremony (13:35)

The residents of the Collinwood neighborhood have a newly upgraded park thanks to an million dollar investment from Mayor Frank Jackson’s administration and Cleveland City Council. A ribbon cutting was held at Mark Tromba Park on the city’s eastside with remarks from Mayor Frank Jackson, Ward 8 Councilman Mike Polensek and the sons of the late Mark Tromba.


Coffee with a Cop (16:55)

At the McDonald’s on East 55th and Superior, owners Geoffrey and Peaches Ledwidge welcome the public to meet with Cleveland’s 3rd district police officers over a free cup of joe. Third District Commander Dorothy Todd said this event is a good way to stay in the know with what is on people’s minds.


5th Annual Dancing for Life Praise Fest (18:50)

In 2014 13 year old Tyree Black tragically took his own life. His mother turned the tragedy into a way of helping others that are suffering, while also honoring Tyree’s memory, with the annual Dancing for Life event.
