On Friday, October 25, 2013, around 7:22 am, a five year-old male was hit by a vehicle while walking to school on West 37th and Denison Avenue. The young child was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center where he later died as a result of his injuries. The driver of the vehicle that struck the child did not stop at the scene.

The photos above are of the suspect vehicle. These photos were taken by a camera on a school bus as the suspect vehicle passed it. The suspect vehicle is the mid-sized 4 door SUV seen next to the school bus. The vehicle is a newer model vehicle with a rounded front end, tapered rear window, no luggage rack and either white, silver or light grey in color.
