34th Annual Martin Luther King Celebration Concert

Cleveland, Ohio- cleveland orchestraThe Cleveland Orchestra’s annual MLK concert draws more than 2,000 members of the community to Severance Hall to celebrate Dr. King. This concert is to honor the memory of  one of  the great civil rights pioneers in our history, as well as recognizing the service achievements of an adult, youth, and organization that have positively impacted the Cleveland community. Mayor Frank Jackson, Councilman Kevin Conwell, and Cuyahoga County Councilwoman Yvonne Conwell were in attendance to present the 2014 MLK Community Service Awards.web IMG_9157 The Cleveland Orchestra was Conducted by Chelsea Tipton & William Henry Caldwell, Lev Mamuya was the cello soloist, as well as performances by The Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Chorus.
