The Karamu house has been the starting grounds for so many talented artists including Bill Cobbs, Earl Billings and Kim Whitley among many others.  Reel Cleveland covered the newly established alumni association event before the latest production of The Color Purple in the theater and had a chance to talk with some alumnus that go as far back as 1947!
