TV20 was happy to host the 9th grade class of CMSD’s MLK Career Campus!

TV20 had the opportunity to host the 9th grade class of MLK Career Center, and introduce them to the behind the scenes world of television! 

Our day started with the students meeting  the faces behind TV20! Everyone gave their own personal history, including education and past work experience leading up to their time at TV20. 

Afterwards, students and teachers were taken across the street to Cleveland City Hall to meet and take photos with Mayor Frank Jackson. They also had a chance to hear from Director of Community Relations Board Blaine Griffin. 

Back at TV20, students & teachers tested out their news anchor skills by reading from one of our news script while on camera. Students were even shown how to operate the cameras.

At the end of the day, everyone left with a better understanding of just what goes on here at TV20, and with some gifts!
