Happy March Cleveland! March means we are inching even closer to spring and there are plenty of events taking place to kick-off the month. Let’s first see how Cleveland ended Black History Month!

The 10th Annual Who’s Who in Black Cleveland Event

The 10th Annual “Who’s Who in Black Cleveland” Event was held at the Inter-Continental Hotel, giving tribute to those who have left a legacy and to recognize current influential men and women in our city. This event is a major one every year and many people gather to show their appreciation and to honor those who have made a difference and those who continue too.

Black History Month and the Future of Radio

To celebrate Black History Month, as well as the history and future of radio, an event was held at the New Bridge Cleveland Center, and featured a panel discussion with two long-time African American media personalities, Dee Perry from WCPN and Mark Ribbons, Program Director of The Wave.

Black History Month- A Taste of Culinary Arts

The City of Cleveland continued to celebrate Black History Month with the “We Are in Good Hands” A Taste of Culinary Arts Event held at the City Hall Rotunda. The Black History Month Committee presented Chef Donte Hodge, from “A Taste of Excellence Catering with a plaque for his outstanding works in culinary arts.
