October has been full of many wonderful events and there have been a lot of groundbreaking openings. On Halloween, October 31st, join Mayor Frank Jackson, the Cleveland Airport System and various vendors from around the city for Synergy 2013! This event will be held at the Cleveland Convention center, Ballrooms B and C from 10am-3pm. Don’t worry about paying, admission is free and open to anyone who wants to come.
Airport Director Ricky Smith states,”In years past, Synergy has been about creating networking opportunities for large and small business owners with established business owners as well as educating them on the City’s procurement process.” “This year, we will create a new synergy between employers and job seekers to provide the tools needed for those seeking employment.”
The intent of Synergy 2013 is to provide attendees access to jobs available with organizations doing business at Cleveland Hopkins Airport and Burke Lakefront Airport, in the city and the region. One-on-one assistance will be available by experts with resume writing, interviewing and skills in networking. The Greater Regional Transportation Authority, City of Cleveland Human Resources Department and Civil Service Department; SIRMALL CLE, and HMShost are just among the vendors involved.
Attendees will also get the opportunity to learn about upcoming procurement chances at CLE and BKL with some of the areas largest government agencies. This outreach event basically has one main purpose: allowing businesses to create synergy through networking, workshops, and procurement advice and insight from veteran entrepreneurs. Synergy 2013 is a great way to make your business come to life! For addditional information, contact: Jacqueline L.
