Cleveland Municipal Court: In The Neighborhood!

The Cleveland Municipal Court has started their second year of In The Neighborhood, their community outreach program where they bring the Clerk of Courts to your neighborhood!

It’s an all too common occurrence. You’ve found the dreaded traffic ticket stuck under your windshield wiper. Maybe you stuck it on the fridge or threw it in a drawer while you waited for payday. Before you know it, the tickets due date has passed, which just means more fines and complications. Maybe you can’t take time off work to make it to court or you fear being pulled over and arrested for your outstanding fines.  The Cleveland Clerk of Courts Earle B. Turner has heard the complaints of Cleveland’s citizens, and created the community outreach program “In The Neighborhood.”

In The Neighborhood brings the Clerk’s staff right to your community, by setting up in locations such as a local church or recreation center. Citizens who have outstanding fines will get the chance to sit down and settle their fines, arrange new court dates, or arrange payment plans. It’s important to know that no one will be arrested  for attending an In The Neighborhood session.

Below you can find the current schedule and future locations of In The Neighborhood, along with the number of individuals that can be helped that day, which will be on a first come first served basis.
