Disability Awareness Luncheon

In celebration of Disability Awareness Month, the City of Cleveland held its 12th Annual Disability Awareness Luncheon on Wedneday, October 30th in the rotunda of City Hall.

The event, organized by The City of Cleveland Department of Aging is a very informative and interactive way to bring awareness to the community on people with disabilities on how they enrich our everyday lives. The Disability Awareness Lucheon also provides education and help for people with disabilities to find jobs and other needed resoures to live a active normal life. The event featured lunch, great speakers and entertainment for all ages to enjoy!

This years Keynote speaker was Anthony Easley, Ed.D. Manger of Special Projects Literacy Program Cleveland Sight Center, with a performance by Sign Stage, a Cleveland based internationally known D.E.A.F actors troupe.
