West Side Market Centennial Celebration!

TV20 reporter Leah Haslage was at the West Side Market Centennial Celebration in Ohio City this past Sunday. Despite the gloomy weather, thousands of people showed up to celebrate this milestone. A parade down Lorain Avenue and W.25th  street was filled with local merchants, St. Ignatius High School Marching Band and even Mayor Frank Jackson along with Councilman Joe Cimperman. Leah interviewed Councilman Cimperman about this event and what it means for not only Ohio City, but for all of Cleveland.    TV20 even got exclusive coverage of Councilman Cimperman and his family releasing a Dove in Market Square!

The Market was packed with people, musicians played on different stages and there was even a hot dog contest! The festivities concluded with the official lighting of the West Side Market clock tower!
