The Land, Believe-land, the 216, all acronyms for the wonderful City of Cleveland, has caught the national spotlight, especially for it’s professional athletic teams. The Indians were hot and now cold, the Browns are still undergoing an intense quarterback battle, and the Cavaliers have acquired a potential championship team. Let me remind you, this is all happening in the City of Cleveland!

The Tribe, winning 3 of 4 to the League Leading Detroit Tigers a few weeks ago, has gone cold all of a sudden. The Indians lackluster play over the past 8 games has had an effect on both the team and fans. With only a few months left in the regular season, the Indians still believe that the playoffs are an attainable goal. However, a sense of urgency is also present in the Indian’s locker room.

The Browns have just undergone training camp 4 days ago. On the second day of being fully equipped with pads, a brawl broke out between the offense and defense during 11 on 11’s. The fight broke out because Ben Tate threw the ball at Ahtyba Rubin after an inside run. All the Brown’s players afterwards agreed that they want no one soft on their team. Many players believe sometimes minute brawls are needed as long as no one gets injured.

At the quarterback position, Brian Hoyer seems to be on point while Johnny Manziel seems to be struggling. However, all Browns personnel are impressed with both of the quarterbacks so the decision on which one will start will be both less than difficult.

The Cavaliers have acquired a plethora of phenomenal players this off season, including number one overall pick, Andrew Wiggins, the King himself, Lebron James, and sharpshooter Mike Miller. However, the Cavaliers still would love to attain Kevin Love, but not at the expense of Wiggins. Either way, the Cavaliers will be one of the most exciting teams to watch this upcoming basketball season!
